they advised me yesterday if I go over bmi they will cancel even on surgery day

feel so stressed with it all , any words of wisdom ?

How did you find keeping weight down during stims !?

lost 10kg and just feel so drained really want to push on with things but they are making me feel like I should postpone

very frazzled
thanks in advance

I think that is quite harsh. I had to loose 3 and a half stone for my treatment. I lost it but they were very strict and weighed me all the time right up until I started my treatment and then they didn’t weigh me again. I was conscious they could and wanted to be as healthy as possible anyway so I wouldn’t have been over but would have been an unnecessary stress. The injections and meds made me feel quite bloated so like you get around time of the month so it’s abit unfair to weigh you once you started as any weight gain could be water. I think they are being abit mean there. I think it’s fair to ask us to loose it in the first place as I’m now 9weeks pregnant from that treatment and think being lighter and healthier made all the difference but the time of your treatment should be as stress free as possible

Thank you lovely
just so stressed they’ll cancel it on collection day . Trying my hardest to just shift a little more so that I have a buffer and they are happy

really don’t want to be putting my body under more stress !

Thanks so much xx

You’re almost there now. Stay positive. You’ve already lost the weight. Just eat healthy and you won’t put it back on. You don’t want to be crash dieting at this stage, it won’t do your body good. Try and stay positive. You’ve done the hard bit with the 10k

If I go over they will cancel on the day of surgery

it’s all so stressful , they said just do whatever to get as low as possible or be throwing my money away

they said to expect huge weight gain with meds , just gonna try my hardest

so fed up ! Thanks so much x

Are you private? Mine was NHS so I understood them being strict and it’s fair enough. I wouldn’t have thought the same would apply if you’ve paid for it. I can only imagine how stressful it all is. I hope it all goes well. When is your egg retrieval/transfer.
