Things to avoid during TWW?

Might be a bit of an overkill - but are skincare, hair products ok to use during the TWW? I know perfume, nail polish etc are not to be used, and I’ve noticed certain products indicate to ‘not to be used if pregnant’ but not all products will
have that advice.. I just got a bit paranoid this morning when I used my hair stuff after washing it this morning!

You can use perfumes and nail polish.
The only time you have to avoid perfume is on the day of the transfer, because embryos are sensitive to strong smells and might deteriorate.

Otherwise there is nothing you should avoid during th 2WW that you don[t have to avoid for the whole of your pregnancy. And thats basically just foods!

Dont stress about it too much (I know it is easier said than done) and go about your normal life!

I did literally nothing different, even went straight to work after the transfer, and my baby is moving around inside me, at nearly 19 weeks!

Best of luck!!!

Thanks @ASGIRC thats reassuring. Congrats!

I was told perfume and nail polish may be transmitted into the blood! Similar to cleaning products etc. hopefully just an old wives tale!

@4thcyclelucky it definitely is! And the internet is full of stuff like that. Pay it no mind!
Most things are based on "we have no idea if this might be bad or not, so just dont do it", based on absolutely nothing.

Things that are ACTUALLY bad for the baby are alcohol, smoking, toxoplasmosis, listeria, high fevers.
So just take it easy, live your life, and try not to stress too much about what could possibly harm the baby. Because not a lot will!
