To be active or rest during tww

I've read conflicting articles . Some say be mildly active and some say rest and limit activities will encourage implantation.
Just curious what you did when you got your bfp

They recommend no strenuous exercise but normal daily activity is fine. There isn't any evidence to say any one thing is better than anything else. Personally I don't run during the TWW post transfer but continue with everything else as normal including walking dogs 5-6 miles every day. I've had a positive cycle (DD) and 2 negative transfers TTC a sibling.

I have recently read at a q&a of the clinic I am following on insta that some new research shows that no movement can negatively affect implantation.

The 2 clinics I ve been at have always advised to continue with the usual lifestyle.

1xfresh transfer and 1xFET followed doctors advice to do walking but not to do anything very strenuous. Cut out gym/climbing/running/lifting anything over 10kg inc.

third attempt was a FET. Had a different doctor who advised me to carry on with usual activity if I wanted to, ie riding my bike to work and indoor climbing within my ability. Said no evidence that this sort of activity is bad for IVF, just to not try things that are a lot more strenuous than I would usually do if that makes sense. Also depends if you are going to blame yourself for going on that run/climb etc if it doesn’t work.

during stims you do need to be careful not to do activity where your heavy ovaries could twist around, but in terms of the embryo transfer I think lots of inconsistent advice with little evidence is given out.

unfortunately I have yet to have a BFP with any of these cycles, but mentally I was much better in the last one where I carried on doing comfortable amounts of my usual activity, rather than staying in staring at the walls and overthinking about the TWW.

good luck with your treatment OP.
