Hi all, just looking for some advice while trying not to freak out! 🤦🏻♀️ I’m currently on my first ever ICSI cycle and was taking Nothisterone for 8 days however it took 4 days for a withdrawal bleed to come and it’s very light and not very painful. Which is unusual for me as I’ve got endometriosis and I’m usually in a bit of pain and have a heavy flow. Anyway the clinic said as long as it was a flow of blood & bright red then it was fine to progress to the prostap injection this morning.
They then called me and said if my period was quite light then to not take the prostap and of course by this point it was too late! I’ve had protected sex throughout this cycle however we did have an issue with a condom a week ago which we fixed before he ejaculated but the clinic has freaked me out by saying that I need to be 100% sure I’m not pregnant! I’ve already taken prostap now so I can’t do anything about it but I just wondered if anyone had light bleeding after notheristerone? Or if anyone became pregnant during an IVF cycle?
I have done 2 early pregnancy tests which are both negative but I'm just really concerned that I could have ruined my chances of having my little miracle baby! 😭
any help or advice would be much appreciated!
