How many fertilsed embryos make it to day 3

We have 3. we only got 8 eggs and only 3 fertilsed. 2 abnormally . The rest were no good.
They are planning a day 3 transfer.
I'm wondering how likely is it these 3 will still be there by day 3

@HowlingAtTheM00n I got 8 eggs as well, 4 fertilised, and 3 embryos frozen at day 5. Im not sure about day 3, but around 30-50% of fertilised eggs are supposed to become usable day 5 embryos. Because the numbers are small, there is big variation though. I found the wait nerve wracking. Best of luck!

@HowlingAtTheM00n wishing you all the best. Just a little story of some hope - had an egg collection last week, 5 eggs collected 5 mature and only 1 fertilised. Was terribly fragmented and I gave up. Had a call yesterday saying only embryo made it to blastocyst and has a good grade and frozen. We have another round scheduled for next year , still on this journey. It a real fight :(
