Hoping someone can explain me
So from my understanding some poeple have either a day 3 or day 5 transfer
What is the benefit of either?
I've read day 5 is a full blast and helps embryologist to Identify the best one on day 5 but it also means some may arrest trying to take them on to day 5 ..
So therefore they put them in day 3 rather than risk it. I'm wondering what is the purpose of this. Surely you'd be better identifying the better quality blasts than putting in a day 3 not knowing if it will even make it to blast stage on day 5.
Is there a scientific reason behind this.?
I'm just confused now it works really and hoping someone can help explain it to me so I can understand.
I currently have 3 embryos. They said if we make it to Friday they will transfer one on day 3 and if one is doing better than the other they would transfer on day 5.
Is it just to make the patient feel like at least they've had a transfer?
