Hi all,
After 2 years of trying to have a baby, after 2 miscarriages and being rejected from NHS IVF (very low AMH 0.7 at 34), we have decided to give natural modified IVF a go at Create St Paul's.
This month, I did the first set of injections, the scans and the blood tests. I was meant to have the egg collection today for most likely 1 egg but it got cancelled while I was on on the operating table with my legs up. This was due to having a blood vessel right in front of my dominant ovary. The doctor gave me a 50% chance of injuring me if we went ahead and he also said that he doesn't feel comfortable with doing it with that risk.
Has anyone had that happen to them? I feel devastated and frustrated how difficult this process is.
