1st and 2nd follicle counts. Did you have much difference in expected follicles

Had my first scan on sunday and only had 4 follicles on 1 ovary and 2 on other varying between 8-12mm

I'm surprised to be honest as they put me on low dose due to fact I was ohss risk but I feel like my numbers are quite low compared to what was anticipated for me.
I'm 38 in January. Pcos
Just wondering did you have much difference between 1st and 2nd scan
Did you end up with more follicles or less or just same. I just want to give myself an idea what to expect . My next scan isn't until Friday

I have low ovarian reserve and had total of 8 (4 on each) on baseline scan.

2nd scan - 6 (3 on each)
3rd scan - 7 (4 and 3)
4th scan - 9 (6 and 3)

I did have another scan but don't know the results.

From scans after baseline I think they only plot follicles of a certain size as although my numbers dropped from baseline to first scan, it was more because of the size of them, not that they disappeared! I did get more as I went along but they didn't reach the size to be retrieved. I ended up with 4 retrieved. I was on highest dose of Bemfola x
