Just came back from my scan and really disappointed to see that I'd already ovulated, the doctor didn't say as much, said to wait for bloods, but all the follicles on my right side had gone and the nurse confirmed it as she followed me out.
Background: doing antagonist protocol, started the cetrotide last Wednesday and was advised to up it to twice a day on Saturday. My bloods last Wednesday showed my LH had gone up, same thing on Friday bloods, and of course on Saturday.
I really felt that I was ovulating over the weekend and now feel a fool for not saying as much (this is our first cycle). My question is, it feels like this surely should have been picked up sooner? I will have a call with the clinic later and want to make sure that I'm asking the right questions. Is it as simple as that I just didn't respond to the cetrotide or could more have been done?
They have said there is still one follicle on the left side, as I've ovulated on the right side, and they may be able to 'coast' it and collect it.
