FET medication costs

Morning all.

Had a fresh transfer that unfortunately ended in biochemical. Waiting now to start on our FET.

Can anyone advise how much their medication cost for FET? I know it's going to be different for every person but I would be really interested to hear how much it cost you so that we can at least be prepared with a ball park.

My meds for fresh cycle cost approx £1100 and I had prostap for down reg, then 300iu of Meriofert for 11 days and then a 10000iu gonasi trigger shot. Plus then the cyclogest between egg collection and miscarriage. Don't know if that helps create any context!

We are with Access Fertility so everything is covered apart from the meds.

Thanks everyone :)

Mine was about £300 for the oestrogen and progesterone and then when it was successful I was on lubion injections for 12 weeks as I have low progesterone, which was £100 a week. You may be fine with just the cheaper pessaries though but after my failed fresh I wanted to do everything possible to support the pregnancy even if it was overkill!

My FET meds cost about £700 per cycle. I am doing a medicated short protocol, so no down regulation. I am on fyremadel (prevent ovulation), oestrogen patches and progesterone (cyclogest and lubion). This is more expensive than some due to the lubion which i need due to low progesterone noted on a previous cycle. I think my first cycle it was only £300/400.

Good luck!

No down regs for me just progynova and Utrogestan pessaries. From my clinic it would have been £150, from Asda with the same prescription it was £73. This is enough meds to get me to OTD.

Would be worth checking costs at other pharmacies before agreeing to clinic prices

Mine was around £450. That’s progynova, cyclogest and lubion.

About £300 - estradiol tablets and progesterone pessaries only. May well increase when I have a blood test before transfer to confirm if I need lubion injections though…

£250 for progynova, cyclogest and lubion - this will last around a month so will need more of the progesterone if successful x
