Hi, just looking for a bit of advice as feel really confused and fed up..

I have been ttc for 3 years, had bloods done that were all normal and showed ovulation, Hycosy test that was clear and my partners tests also came back with good results.
i do however get long cycles ranging anywhere from 32-40 days and was diagnosis’s with pcos due to having cysts on my ovaries - even though I have none of the usual side affects and have a healthy BMI.

I was started on letrizole 2.5mg this cycle as my consultant wanted to try it to bring on super ovulation and it was worth a shot before IVF. I am currently CD 17! I bled from day 1 until day 8 this cycle and usually only ever have AF for 5 days

I have had 3 scans,
Day 10 which showed just a bit of ‘clear fluid’
day 14 - no follicle
day 17 (today) - no follicle
however my LH strips have started to get a bit darker today. I am so confused how there could be no follicles even though my consultant thought I already ovulated on my own prior to the letrizole and that My LH tests seem to be getting darker.

just feel so stressed out by this whole process and can’t seem to find any threads with anyone else who has experienced this.

Forgot to mention yesterday I started spotting very very light - I’ve never had this mid cycle before I thought it may be a sign of ovulation but clearly not as no follicle was seen on todays scan

If I don’t usually ovulate until day 24 is a day 17 scan to early to show follicle growth?

I’m not sure about relation to follicle growth, but I had effectiveness of letrozole tested through bloods.

did the do 21 day bloods before starting? Are they doing to do bloods?
it’s possible that letrozole isn’t effective for you, either in dosage or just appropriateness.

do they have a plan moving forward for you?

My consultant is off on the sick now until end of November so I’ve just been told to take a month off and she will increase the dose when she’s back. So frustrating. Thank you for responding ❤️
