Worried I'm going to ovulate before injection

They aren't starting me until day 11 on the injection to stop ovulation. My issue is last month I ovulated on day 12 so I just feel its cutting it very close. Its it normal they start so late with this ?

This happened to me and I ovulated before egg collection , I was left two days even though it was obvious my body was having to be suppressed with the strongest medication level to prevent ovulation.
can you speak to the doctors and ask for closer monitoring ?
