RPL clinic

Have had 5 losses since March 2022, all around the 4-6 weeks mark. 1 previous completely normal pregnancy to term.
We were lost to follow up in March after a D&C but finally got an appointment next month in recurrent miscarriage clinic.

Not sure what to expect? There was mention of a test to check womb structure but I think unlikely that's the issue given the number of ultrasounds I've had an the fact there were no issues with my first pregnancy. Would they do that on the day or book it in for another day?

We had most of the bloods done privately last year with nothing much showing up other than a low progesterone but have had 2 mc since despite being on aspirin and clexane from day 14 of cycle and for the 2nd one on progesterone since testing positive.

Also I'm now 39 and my son is nearly 5. I'm not sure how much longer I can keep trying and am on the verge of cancelling the appointment and giving up anyway. Having looked online in not sure what, if anything, the NHS can offer me.

Genuinely sad that not a single person bothered to reply. First time I've posted on a public forum about my losses and how I feel because I've been too mentally fragile and worried about the responses. Really don't know what I was worried about!!

I'm really sorry no one replied. I personally didn't recognise the acronym and thought it was another post about private clinics which I tend not to read. I now realise what it means. I am so sorry for your losses, I can't imagine the heartbreak you have been through. I don't have any experience or knowledge to offer, but don't want you to feel alone. Infertility is a horrible journey and sharing it with others can help. I hope others with some knowledge on this subject come forward soon. Have you got any access to counselling support in real life? Whatever you decide it may be helpful in the future.
