Lining not triple layered collection Friday

Hi I am due for egg collection on Friday, this is my fourth cycle but first time having this problem. The nurse called this afternoon to say she wasn't happy with my lining and will review on Friday when I am down for collection. I don't remember ever having to check this before, I always thought that was what the progesterone was for before transfer. Has anyone had this and then it turn out OK?

Hi, I've not had this but did recently go through the scans for a FET and was told the triple lining part is more important that the thickness. My clinic aim for 7mm+ ideally before the progesterone is added but will allow us thinner but triple lining there.

I imagine your clinic will still do the collection but if the lining isn't looking as they want they will likely do a freeze all rather than fresh.

Thank you. I remember them checking my lining for transfer but didn't remember them checking at this stage. They had said if not suitable will be a freeze all, I was disappointed but you'd think I would know by now you never know what happens on this journey.

It is odd that maybe they haven't flagged it sooner in your cycle like the initial scans etc. I guess they just have to set the expectations and hope for the best.

You are absolutely right that you never know what happened, I've just done a FET naively thinking it would be much easier than the fresh, which I found to be very manageable. Yet the FET has felt worse, progynova has defo affected my head and brain capacity 😂

Every cycle seems to affect me differently. Hope your FET goes well. I went for collection this morning and lining is looking good. We got 4 eggs so hopefully we make it to transfer and I will be able to have a fresh one x
