I will be starting my IVF with CRGH this october. Thought of creating a thread for those who are on their IVF cycle with CRGH so that we can share information, common questions etc.

Anyone interested, please join in :)

Hi @Laurenm1990 yay! Getting one step closer to the EC, got my fingers and toes crossed for you for an excellent cycle

I also had mild cramps during the stims phase. is your clinic fairly responsive to questions etc? I’d sometimes email my patient coordinator if I am worried about something and they typically arrange a call back from the consultant, just to put my mind at ease.

my main side effect of the stims was sore boobs…after perhaps day 4/5 of the stims. Theyve only just gotten better lately, even though it’s been over a week after the EC.

wishing you lots of luck for this cycle! Keep us posted! xxx

Hi @Maria12060

how are you feeling? I have been emailing and get a response back so that’s good. They did say it is very normal. Although this evening while doing injections, some leaked out and I lost some of it so have also emailed them again this evening 🙈.

are you going for another cycle of meds and egg collection next?
Thanks for all your luck wishes 🤞
I hope everyone else is also doing okay?
xx

Hiii @Laurenm1990

i am very well thanks! Been keeping myself busy with chores and work

I am waiting for my withdrawal bleed then my usual period - I think that’s a wait of about 6 weeks or so. My clinic will be closed for cycles in December so I’m looking possibly to do the next cycle in January if all goes well. The doctor has said the break will do me good anyway.

oh Btw a good tip for stims is to get an ice pack and use it on your abdomen a couple of minutes before you inject yourself - it numbs the area so it hurts less. 🤗

wish you luck for the upcoming scan and the remaining stims! xxx

Laurenm1990 · 20/11/2023 21:48

Hopefully a nice break for you with lots of lovely things planned ready for your next cycle 🤞🤞!

ohh thanks so much with the ice pack tip, tomorrow I start with the cetrotide injection so the numbing will help that as I’ve heard if stings more!

thanks so much @Maria12060 so kind of you! I will keep you updated on here with how it alll goes 🤞 xx

Hi all,
How are you all doing? Just thought I would update you all with my day 9 stims scan. The nurse said all looked good, moving quicker than I thought. We have tonight and tomorrow two more evenings of injections and then we trigger tomorrow evening also. Egg collection booked for Monday. I had 3 follicles at 18mm, 3 at 16mm, 2 at 14mm, 4 at 12mm and 3 at 10mm. Have 6 also below 10mm so unlikely to catch up. My endometrial lining is 8.27 which she also said was good. Xx

Hi ladies, been following this chat for a while now and speaking with a couple of you directly! Out of interest, anyone struggling with the injections? Just started and on day 3 today. Any hints and tips welcome. Also, any suggestions on ovulation cramps and nausea? New to the medication and feeling low with it! Thanks all

Hi everyone - quick one has anyone caught covid whilst having IVF and has this caused the treatment to stop? Need some help on this!

smashedbanana · 18/12/2023 20:36

@Foodie68 @silverbirchsw hello! Sorry to pick up an old-ish thread but wondering how you are finding CRGH and Dr Saad? I have a consultation with him in a few weeks. The CRGH pricing is considerably more than say, Lister, for the same treatment so would be interested to hear your experiences and why you decided CRGH over other clinics! Wishing you all successful ivf journeys xx

Foodie68 · 18/12/2023 22:23

@smashedbanana i have mixed feelings about my treatment at CRGH, I’ve had one round so far and they managed to get far more eggs than elsewhere, on the otherhand I’ve found them not very understanding when I’ve raised some concerns on PGTa testing and suggested that I might not go ahead with this. I’m just starting my second batching round so going to see how that goes. Hope it goes well for you x

silverbirchsw · 01/01/2024 21:09

@smashedbanana sorry for the delay, we have not yet gone ahead with CRGH. We have had ovarian PRP and are now undertaking another cycle with our original fertility clinic. Best wishes

Hi

Would anyone care to share how things have gone for them at CRGh? I am going to start there soon and looking for some stories.

Thank you!
