I have a ds conceived via ivf because of pcos and endometriosis (after trying for 5 years and having 4 failed cycles before success).
I then had dd (tried for 15 months from when ds was 8 months old and nothing and then transferred our only frozen embryo)
We decided we wanted one more and after 18 months trying It was recommended I have a HyCoSy - I got pregnant that cycle but it was Ectopic. I had medical management and was told could try again after 3 months. That was 6 months ago.
My dr advised we try Letrozole but said no need for another HyCoSy but I’m not sure if I should have one before starting ? Or do I just accept one tune may have been damaged ?
We can’t afford ivf again so this may be my only chance I don’t want to ‘waste’ medicated cycles if a HyCoSy first would increase my chances but my dr said it’s not necessary (the mass was at the end of my tube near the fimbrial end so he said it has hopefully been re absorbed and not caused too much damage .
Has anyone been through similar ?
