We did ivf cycle ( failed) and we have 3 embryos leftover frozen from that cycle.
Does anyone know the cost of what it will be ( rough idea) to transfer each embryo? I'm assuming we have to pay thawing and transfer itself ect.

@KosmicK I’m sorry to hear that you had a failed cycle. Hope things work out for your frozen embryos.

I received this quote from a clinic in London, I assume/hope it’s cheaper if you don’t need the embryo culture (as you already have frozen embryos). They usually only do only 1 embryo per transfer unless you meet certain criteria:

+Frozen Embryo Transfer package =£2,250
This includes:
Monitoring scans, clinical advice, thaw of embryos, extended (5 day) embryo culture to blastocyst stage (if required) Embryo transfer, One βhCG pregnancy blood test, one viability pregnancy scan, or review consultation in the event of a negative outcome.
+HFEA licence fee = £85
+Progesterone blood test =£70
+Medication = Approximate cost dependent on patient response, estimated between £100- £500

Mine was with ABC Fertility, sister company of Create and it was £2080. This is with a day 5 embryo. Doesn't include medication or pregnancy test.
My medication was guna be £130 if supplied by the clinic but got it from Asda for £72

My clinic charge is £2700 for a frozen embryo transfer cycle, excluding the meds put the Sun in a sec. They're not even in London, so that is quite expensive!
