Cyclogest pessaries

Sorry for tmi in advance…
I have my frozen embryo transfer on Friday and currently using the cyclogest pessaries.
I started using them in the front but thought it might be best using the back passage instead thinking I don’t want to mess around too much with the front as that’s where they will transfer the embryo from.
my question is how far up do the pessaries go?!
I saw the an instruction video that said to put the index finger as far as you can go but I’m only able to put a quarter of my finger in before I lose it! Is this enough šŸ˜…

If your going up the back end you literally don’t have to push them up much at all, they will soon slide up with just a little push, if you feel them stuck dance around and wiggle your bum a bit and they will soon slide up lol šŸ˜‚
I used the back end with all my transfers, there was no mess and could move around immediately, they say you have to lie down for 20 mins each time if used vaginally and I just didn’t have time to do that.
Good luck

I much much prefer vaginally for mine - can't stand the feel of anything in the back end! So they just say in my clinic, do it in the back for the morning of your transfer (I guess so there's less gunk in the way?) but apart from that it's absolutely fine to choose either.

As for how far, in the front treat it like a tampon.

I’ve been doing about a quarter finger too (with a glove) and that’s been fine! My progesterone levels have tripled since I started them so I’m confident they’re working.

I also like to sit down right after inserting it as I feel like it pushes it up a bit!

The clinic will clear your cervix before going ahead with the transfer. My pessaries are vaginally only

Sorry should have said I'm on a different brand but more wanted to give reassurance re using them before transfer too

Hi, I had my embryo transfer on Monday 16th and have been on cyclogest 3 times daily since Wednesday 11th ..... has anyone any positive stories signs to look out for.... before the transfer i was exceptionally gooey and now i do think there is less goo but im trying not to get my hopes upI hate using the medication as It leads me to hope for something that isn't always there... that sounds bad but I would rather know in invoice that any symptoms I have or may have belong to a pregnancy not the medication
