Hi all,

I’m new to IVF after ttc for over a year - I have 3 fibroids, tilted uterus and endometriosis and we also have MFI with 1% morphology so are having our first round of ICSI starting later this month. My AMH is 5.4 so low for my age as I’m 36. Drs have told us we will be lucky to have 1 viable embryo and very lucky to have 2….but trying to stay positive as I know 1 is all we need! 🤞🏻

Equal parts excited and anxious to get started and wondered if anyone is going through their treatment at the same time and wanted to join this thread!?

I'm also starting our first icsi cycle next month.
Im 37 and i have pcos and suspected endo and we have male factor too .. poor morphology
I collected my meds on Saturday and its just hit me its real. I'm incredibly anxious now

@MoonlightDreamer oh wow bless you it’s so hard to find out there’s so much going on at the one time! I’m feeling the same atm, so anxious today and I don’t have my meds yet…I’m doing the FLARE protocol due to my low AMH so I don’t start taking any meds till day 21 of my cycle! What about yourself?

I'm on a short protocol and I start on 12th October. I'm doing only 5 days of stims at the lowest dose as I have a high amh (62) which is standard for pcos but apparently it puts me at risk of developing OHSS. Were also having to do a freeze all as opposed to a fresh transfer. After collection I'll have to wait a few months for things to settle down and then have the transfer. I know its probably for the best but its quite fustrating to have to wait so long. I'm trying to stay positive but there's just so many worries in the process isn't there. Not knowing how many eggs you'll get, if any fertilise and then the drop off to blastocyst stage. Will there be any of good quality. I'm dreading that my eggs will be rubbish quality due to the pcos and age.
I'm downing buckets of supplements but I think it'll take a miracle at this stage. It's hard that there's no guarantee isn't it.
Do you know an estimate of when you may start?

Hey @MoonlightDreamer I've been absolutely wrecked with anxiety this week as been patiently waiting on the clinic calling me back but finally I have my start date….12th October! Same as you! ☺️

I'm doing long protocol due to my low AMH so have 7 days of down reg and then stims and have 2 scans booked in 1st and 3rd Nov, transfer week after hopefully 🤞🏻

aw I can understand you are keen to get started but giving your body a chance to recover from all the drugs etc will defo help and your AMH is high so hopefully you will have a decent number of eggs after it’s all done! 🥰

And forgot to say I’m the same with the supplements, diet, acupuncture, no booze/caffeine - it’s a lot but all we can do it throw everything we can at it! All my friends are away for a bday weekend and I had to pull out but aren’t telling them all (I have 2 friends who I have told but don’t want all the group to know) it’s been hard to see the videos of them all having fun this morning but I can party anytime, this is way more important ❤️

Hi ladies,
Im new to posting & new to IVF.
Im 34, amh is about 5 - despite being 12 a year ago!
My partner is 34, has low morphology.
We have been ttc for just over two years with one chemical. We have done 4 IUI rounds - 2 were cancelled just before IUI day - one due to thin lining, one due to expired bloods.

On my last scan about 5-6 follicles were measured. Smallest being 14, largest being 18. I had two triggers which I did last night ( buserelin & ovitrelle). Egg collection is tomorrow morning and I feel sick with nerves !!

I feel for you all going through this. It’s so tough!
