Hello guys,

I had chlamydia at 21 and was treated for it as soon as I knew, would of been at most a few months I was infected. I then (stupidly) got it again the following year and again was treated for it. Not been infected since as learnt my lesson and matured and now 27 and with my long term partner and ttc. Been trying for 4 months now, not hardcore but unprotected sex regularly and not had my bfp. I'm worried I have PID from the past chlamydia infections and I'm scared. I have 0 symptoms, I'm healthy and have regular periods with no issues. Am I worrying over nothing?

To be honest, 4 months is absolutely nothing. Most can only dream of conceiving in that time frame. It can take healthy couples with no issues upto 2 years, which is why a GP won't refer for investigations until you've been trying z amount of years.
If your worried , and private is an option you could book yourself in for a dye test which is around £500 ( could be a consultation fee on top of that)
A dye test will test the patency of your tubes to see if they are open or if there's any blockages.
But honestly, at 4 months I think your panicking over nothing
