IVF October. Short protocol. FET. Looking for buddies

This will be my first ivf cycle TTC #1
OHSS risk so transfer will be a future FET.
Starting with Bemfola 150iu days 1-3
Centroide 0.25 days 4-6 .
Provisional date for collection is late October.
That's all I know for now.
It just hit me today and I'm feeling very anxious

Hi @MoonlightDreamer - I'm also due to start in October. We were meant to start in September but for various reasons we delayed

I'm on the same dose as you. We've got MFI. They haven't told me it will be a freeze all cycle (if we're lucky enough to make it that far) but I suspect it will be. At my last scan, I had 45+ follicles so guessing it will be!

Think I'll start stims mid October ish time

45 follicles @marshk wow! How are you feeling about it all? Is this your first cycle. I'm new it to it all, but have a few friends that have been through the process so I'm kind of familiar with the terminology and processes.

Hi! Yes it's my first cycle - to be honest I'm just so so ready to get started. Although will probably feel more anxious as it gets closer! How are you feeling?

@marshk IVF seems to bring a whole combination of feelings. I'm sure you'll be fine! At the moment I'm feeling pretty meh about it al!!! My main concern is my reaction to the meds but it's got to be done! How long have you been trying? This is #1 for us and we've been trying for 8 months now. We're 39 and 51 so opted to go down the IVF lane sooner rather than later.

@ThesisthenaViva - we've probably been trying about a year. We have MFI so my husband had surgery back in March but no huge improvement so this is our first cycle too. I'm quite excited that it not just the endless month after month of trying and not getting anywhere!

@marshk I am sorry to hear that the surgery didn't improve things. Are you doing ICSI? Life sucks sometimes. I totally get what you mean about the endless months. I really hope your IVF process goes well 🙏🏽 I will be having a freeze all cycle...so no idea when I will be able to transfer but I'm happy to begin the process of creating embryos.
