Irritation during IVF cycles (Not thrush). Help!

Hi
i have had vaginal irritation for basically the past two months during IVF stim cycle and it is very annoying! I want to know if anyone else has been in the same situation and what helped.

I thought it was thrush so tried countless creams and pessaries (econazole, monazole, mycoster, fluconazole, lomexin - i live in France so think different meds are used in the UK) but it didn’t clear.
I eventually had lab testing done and the result came back negative for thrush (also negative for chlamydia which the doctor tested for as well!) and it said I had normal levels of vaginal microflora.

i wonder if this is just irritation at all the hormones, gels, and pills of the past few months?
I did my first IVF stimulation and egg retrieval in June, then a ‘test’ preparation cycle ( where I took œstrogen and progesterone and had endometrial lining monitored) in July, and then a second stim cycle in august/sept. First transfer scheduled for Oct.
So it’s been quite a lot of hormones and things I wouldn’t normally take, and I am usually very sensitive and prone to thrush (which is why I just assumed it was that)

The symptoms are not crazy out of control but I feel internal itching/prickling at least once a day and it is annoying!

Has anyone else had this during IVF?

I am now using a probiotic cream and probiotic pessary plus some kind of hyaluronic acid gel that is supposed to calm, but no change in the past 4 days.
Am waiting to see the doctor…

Thanks!!

Yes I’ve had this during IVF! Drives me crazy. Seems to be hormone driven for me as it’s worst when I have an abrupt change (like adding progesterone during FET prep). It’s so uncomfortable. I hope the doctor can recommend you something!
