Norethisterone

Hello.
I've started on my ICSI journey and have been on Norethisterone 3 x per day since 4th September to lengthen my cycle.

Since then I've gained 3.5kg ! Feel so insanely bloated . Also pretty down and teary allot, plus daily headaches.
Anyone else had this experience on it? Tbf I had lost 4kg from my consultation to starting my medication and was under the BMI needed for IVF/ICSI so had been stressed I wasn't going to be heavy enough at my baseline scan for them to carry on the protocol... so in a way this is a good thing :).

I'll potentially be starting Ovaleap injections after my baseline scan on 26th September. What were you side effects like from your injections ? Will I ever not be bloated again 😂?

I'm 36 and partner 32. MF infertility .I've got normal AMH and satisfactory FSH . TTC for 3 years, never been pregnant.

I've had norithisterone too in the past, I hate to say it but gaining weight in this journey is normal, and no the clinic will not reject you as they are aware the entire process can cause weight gain. When starting the journey I was a teeny size and now am a healthy size12. It means nothing in comparison to gaining a child

@Tinyteeth hi, do you mind me asking how your first cycle went?

we are due to start our first round of ICSI and sounds like we have similar situation to you, MFI, normal AFC and AMH ovulate monthly etc. been trying for 2.5 years and never been pregnant. Hoping your journey has went well!
