So antagonist is also 'short' is that correct ? And is to avoid ohss.

Is it started on day one of period ?
So here's my situation. We were on clomid and then received our offer for nhs ivf. In the letter they told us we can't have unprotected sex after accepting the offer. Consents have been finalised and sent off to them today.
I'm currently Day 1 of my period.
If I'm not due to start until first day of next period , then why can't we try naturally and use our last course of clomid this month ?
I'm tempted to do this . I hate the thought of wasting an entire month. The only reason I'm hesitant is cause they said not to and I see some people on here saying they had injections on day 21 of cycle to supress the ovaries. Is that done on this protocol?

You can do whatever you want, they're not going to know but they may prefer you don't use clomid in the cycle before IVF incase it affects your hormones. You could still have unprotected sex but without taking clomid. Suppressing the ovaries is only done on the long/agonist protocol, with short/antagonist injections don't start until days 2-4 of your cycle.
