Lap and dye to remove left tube. Recovery fine although I’ve been tired in the week following the op—body busy getting back on track. Stitches out now, scars healing nicely. No endo found. All looks good.
My (lovely) IVF doc says 2 weeks after surgery I can start IVF and my surgeon (who i disliked very much, speaking to him reminded me of arguing with a very entitled ex boyfriend) said 6.
My worry is: if my body is this exhausted healing from the lap, is my egg quality going to be affected? I’ve had two rounds so far, one embryo from round two but poor quality. Thing is, this is year 5 of trying for living child, 3 early losses, 1 late loss, and hard to imagine pushing IVF back another month.
Has anyone had IVF closely after a lap?
