How bloated were you after large egg collection

I had an egg collection yesterday and got 25.

I have been on hyper alert for ohss. It has been 30 odd hours since and so far have had no symptoms at all. But I am SO BLOATED! I honestly look and feel like I’m 6 months pregnant. It’s all at the top of my belly it’s like it’s hard. Just wondering if anyone had this and when it went? Was told to expect some discomfort as I have over 20 eggs.. I’m fed up of feeling like a slug now

@BlueMumma2018 Congratulations on your 25 eggs 🙂 I didn't have a particularly big egg collection but felt very bloated and tight. I think it's normal especially so soon after. For me the pain was all across the top of my abdomen same as you. Bizarrely I took some antacid a few days after still feeling in so much pain and it helped massively. No idea how or why but wish I'd tried it sooner!

I had 21 last collection and that bloat was really uncomfortable. Belly was tight like a drum. Does start to subside after a few days.
I’ve done 3 collections now and for me it takes a week to feel better and another week to feel normal! Hope you shrink soon!!

I had less egg collected (17) but my foccicle numbers we're in the late 20's. I was super bloated after but all is normal and is only temporary, however the progesterone pessaries made me SUPER bloated until I came off them!

@BlueMumma2018 I exactly feel the same, I had my egg collection 4 days ago and although I only had 13 eggs collected, but I ended up with very swelled abdomen. Top of my belly , and sides are very hard to touch and big! Was there anything that helped you all with this? How long did it continue like this? Did you manage to get fresh transfer? Thanks!

Hi 👋🏻 I did have it for around 2 weeks after egg collection and was very annoying as I had put on a few kgs with it and felt extra grumpy for that time. I took water balance tablets and took them as directed for a few days and that really helped it come off 😊 I froze all the embryos, only had 4 to freeze after all
