What was your outcome? I'm never going into it as I'm 38. Apparently 1 in 3 or 1 in 4 will be normal. Terrified my eggs will be rubbish quality. How many attempts at ivf did you need ? Any advice

I had my first egg collection on my actual 39th birthday. Ended up with three 5 day blasto's, the FET failed. Had 2nd collection in March with a further four 5 day blasto's. I am now 40 and waiting on my next FET, which I think will fall this weekend.

My lining is currently giving me hassle as it tends to be too thin. This FET attempt I thought sod it, drank all the booze and lived life, it ended up being thick enough can you believe it!

Did you have IVF on the NHS? Hope you had a successful outcome.

@Digon Yes, I have had 4 FETs, every one BFN. I have my 5th next month.

@Digon my AMH level was 15 when I was privately tested at 36. The NHS didn’t redo the test before IVF as they used my previous results so by the time I started this figure could have been a lot less x

@Digon throughout my whole IVF journey they couldn’t find a single issue with myself or partner, if just wasn’t happening. It was annoying as there was nothing specific that could be treated.

It’s so frustrating when there’s no reason, all we can do is think positive but easier said than done.x
