Too Early For Ectopic Signs?

Hello.
I'm currently 8dpo, sure of my OD as it was a monitored Superovulation cycle.
Official test date is Wednesday, 10dpo, no point in testing before as could still be lingering trigger and it's also very early anyway.
As of 5dpo, I started having this pain on my right hand side tummy just below/right of my belly button. It feels mostly like a stitch than other kind of pains as such (it's not at all like period cramps) and seems to come and go although since yesterday I had 4 instances of it suddenly spiking for a few second to more like a stabbing pain.
I believe 5dpo is way too early to start feeling any kind of ectopic symptoms, but also read one-sided pain could be a sign of.
Looking for some reassurance that it's unlikely to be ectopic this early on, but cannot stop worrying, anybody had similar pain and turned out to just be normal implantation/chemical/BFN?
I have no other symptoms and the pain is very localised. Just some very mild nausea a couple of times and sore breasts, but I am on Cyclogest and had those last month too when it was just a BFN.
Any direct experiences you could share would be grand.
I totally get even if the pain is unlikely to be connected I still wouldn't be able to rule out EP until a PT and beta HCG, but would love to rule out this one thing is possible.
Thanks

I don't know how early is too early to have symptoms. Implantation can have happened already, though, so it's not too early for the pregnancy to have become an ectopic one, if you see what I mean. See if you can call your local early pregnancy unit and talk to someone there, if not you could try 111 and ask to be put through to someone with the relevant expertise. If the pain gets bad, or you feel remotely faint or confused, go to A&E.

Good luck, fingers crossed for you that it isn't!

I was worried at my last transfer it was ectopic and was told by EPU usually symptoms don’t become obvious until 5/6 wks as the embryo needs to get big enough in size to start causing an issue. With all my transfers I have had cramping sometimes on one side, and can be quite painful so it may be normal! Definitely phone your clinic for advice though if it continues/you are worried!

I know sometimes it can end up being your appendix if on your right side of abdo though and quite painful. Definitely get it checked out if it continues but I hope it all calms down x

Thank you both for your kind replies, it’s a BFN afterall so at least that rules out an ectopic. Must be bowels or muscles or probably a side effect of cyclogest.
Take care x
