Hi everyone!

does anyone have any success stories with taking letrozole/clomid with a low AMH?

have you got pregnant?

my AMH is 7.6 and been told I may not respond as well to this medication. I haven’t ovulated for over 12 months.

Hello OP. I've a different history form yours and I cannot vouch for a successful pregnancy yet, but my AMH is similar at 7.9 when tested on CD 23.
Do you know what your AFC is? Do you know for a fact you definitely haven't ovulated at all these past 12 months? How do you track ovulation? If you don;t mind all these questions.
With my AMH and and AFC of 16 over a year ago, I'm just on my second Letrozole cycle and developed 3 leading follicles from 10mg daily. The previous round I developed 2 from 7.25mg.
I know I definitely ovulated both times as I was given a trigger injection when follicles were mature enough and both BBT tracking and OPK confirmed ovulation. The first time I didn't fall pregnant, and currently in the 2ww from the second attempt.

Hello!

yes I’ve been tracking with OPK’s and no success.

I haven’t had a period for this time too, so that’s a fairly good indicator I’m not too. My AFC was 12 when last checked. What’s yours?

my fingers are crossed for you this time!! X

ok, I hear you, I’m sorry to hear about the lack of period, I can appreciate the concern. Are you under the care of a fertility specialist who advised trying Letrozole? If so I’m sure you stand a good chance and they’ll know if that is something that can work in your situation, otherwise they wouldn’t have suggested it. But I honestly think your AMH is really not bad, especially with an AFC of 12. My AFC was 16 the last time it was checked, but that was May last year so I’m sure it’s lower now.
Does your plan include a tracking scan to establish your ovarian response and a trigger injection for any mature follicles?
