Hi ladies. I am just looking for hope that a day 3 fresh embryo might work. I will be 40 in a month and everyone at fertility clinic are saying my eggs are not so good anymore. We did a round and I only had 8 eggs collected, only 5 mature and only 3 fertilized. Of those 3, there was just one good 8 cell and they put it in 2 days ago. Two others were poor quality and only 6 cells and they’re still 6 cells 2 days later, so not looking good for them. I am freaking out and feeling scared, even more so because it was our only cycle paid for by public system and husband says we can’t afford going privately if it doesn’t work. Husband is not really being a good support person as he doesn’t like me acting defeated.
We did IVF 2.5 years ago and had 4 good embryos, day 5 reach transfer didn’t work and 2 FET didn’t either. Only the last one 4th transfer worked and is now my 14mo DS.
I just really need to find hope that it could work this time, even though I just have 1 shot rather than 4 like last time.
