Cancelled IVF cycle after 2 days of stims

I've just had to cancel my second cycle after two days on 200iu Bemfola as two follicles were significantly in front of the others and nurse was disappointed with my progress when compared to my last round in Oct 22 and on a lower dose of stims (150iu bemfola). The plan is to try again next month but not sure what difference that will make.

Feeling quite upset and fearful for the future. My AMH has plummeted since the last cycle from 15 to 7 and my FSH is 11. I'm just about to turn 36, don't feel like I have a lot of time left and I've already had two miscarriages. I still have two embryos banked from the first round but wanted to bank some more to give myself a better chance.

Does anyone have any advice or wisdom to share that could give me hope? I've read estrogen priming and DHEA can help but not sure how to get hold of Progynova. Any help would be really appreciated, I'm doing this on my own and don't have a huge support network.

I'm sorry, that must feel horrible stressful. AMH does fluctuate month to month so the drop might not be as big as you think, try not to panic. What was your AFC like? No advice re supplementation etc other than the evidence for it is generally poor. DHEA you need to take under supervision/recommendation of your clinic as it can interfere with other hormone levels. My consultant said it's not worth taking, there are no decent studies demonstrating benefit. I would speak with your clinic and follow their advice. Progynova is a prescribed medication so you will need them to issue a prescription for you if you are wanting to do oestrogen priming but again the evidence is poor. I'd have a consultation with them and see what they say, but to be honest, one cancelled cycle is not unusual - your body might have just been having an off month. Try not to panic and listen to their advice/reassurance. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply. My AFC was 11 so not terrible but I am worried it will keep dropping as it was 18 when I first started IVF last year. I'm waiting to hear back from my clinic so will see what they suggest re. going forward.
