Ill at start of FET cycle - should I give up/postpone?

It's our first time preparing for a FET, I am on day 6 of the cycle and feeling grim, had some sort of flu and have now developed bronchitis. Saw a GP today who said I would need a week or two to recover. Currently wiped out in bed. I was supposed to be having the transfer on day 21. I will call the clinic in the morning but suspect they will just tell me to go ahead. In principle we are keen to keep going but would it reduce the chances of the embryo's success if I am not 100%? Would love to hear or any similar experiences or advice. Thanks so much.

Hi, not sure statically if it makes a difference but I actually got Covid during my last FET and it went on to be successful, so it didn’t effect anything for me

I'm sure @olivia199 can tell you how the run up to her transfer went!

Thanks so much for your replies ladies and that's brilliant that your FET was a success despite your Covid @Quiteunlucky! That must have been pretty stressful for you.

The clinic has advised me to postpone because it's quite early in the cycle, which is a bit gutting but seems like the right decision. However it's reassuring to know that if I get another (hopefully lesser) bug next time it's not necessarily game over. Who knew how complicated this was! Re-enthused for a healthy eating/living/sleeping kick now... Thanks again.

@Quiteunlucky I have just read elsewhere about your tragic loss - I am so very sorry. That must be totally devastating. Life is very unjust sometimes. Sending you love and strength. Thank you again for your comment and very best wishes for your second baby x
