Pgt-a

We've thawed 3 embryos today for pgt-a testing. I just wondered if anyone can help. One reduced in quality/grading from a 5BA to a 5BC. The C element is the part of the emrbyo that they biopsy. They said usually they only test A or B, but decided to go ahead anyway however they can't say for sure that they will get a result. Does anyone have any experience of a C giving them a result? And was it normal/abnormal?

Unfortunately we lost one of our embryos as it reduced in quality from a 3BB to a 3CD.

Thanks in advance!

Hi, yes I did PGTA testing and had a few c grades which turned out to be euploid.

@Ifitistobesaid thank you so much for replying, I do appreciate it. You've made me feel so much better, I was writing it off in my head.

@BewilderedBee A BC embryo can definitely result in a normal embryo, at my last womb lining scan the nurse practitioner said a patient she had had a 4AA and a 4CC and the 4CC was only normal one.

im struggling to decide if I should do PGT A, I’ve spent loads already on previous treatments so feel it could help me save money and time, but the idea of them damaging the embryo or saying it’s abnormal when it’s normal is making me what to not do it. Not sure. What made you decide to do PGT A?
