Hello, im just after some advice . We've received our offer from nhs to start ivf. We have to decide and accept within the next 2 weeks. It can be deferred for upto 3 months maximum. Were really torn what to do. Should we continue and complete our clomid course or just go straight to ivf ?

So a little about us if this helps..
Im 37 ( 38 in dec) and he is 39. TTC #1 for .. forever . I have PCOS, irregular/ absent cycles/ not ovulating and he does have a morphology issue.. and I know your probably thinking we should go straight to ivf but..
Had a hsg dye in nov and by some miracle ovulated naturally next month and discovered we had a chemical pregnancy. Bled the same day of period due . Ever since, I have been ovulating but having long cycles, ovulation was 30 , 40 + days but at least I was ovulating . We started clomid 3 cycles ago but no success. I am ovulating on clomid, first cycle cd18 , second cycle didn't go well, ovulated cd35, and last cycle ovulated cd17. Last cycle was the first cycle I've ever felt ovulation pain starting from cd11. I tried to surge a few times. Part of my wonders could my body finally be adjusting as I'm on clomid a few cycles and also increased metformin dose.
What's your advice ladies ?
Am I crazy to think it could happen naturally ? I guess my chemical gave me some kind of hope but its just the fact I've had 5 cycles since my chemical and nothing has happened but I'm also aware how incase ivf is and the success rates are so low.
Should we do another 3 months of clomid the ivf or go do the one eligible ivf round now ? I guess the reason why I'm torn is due to my age as I know this is diminishing my quality month by month and I do wonder could the dye have flushed my tubes and perhaps an existing issue ( fluid was suspected on ultrasound) could be building up again or his morphology could be contributing. Any advice would be much appreciated
