We are trying for a baby after a miscarriage earlier this year and three months DTD around ovulation (using the ovulation pee sticks) but me getting my period, which has been very disappointing. We already have 1 DC so I know I can get pregnant. My next fertile window is 16 - 21 Aug but I have to go and see family abroad at this time (booked before my miscarriage, so now my cycle's a bit different). Could I delay my fertile window / ovulation by taking the minipill for only a week? So that we can try and get pregnant when I am back the following week (I return to the UK on the 25th Aug)? I have heard of people using the pill to delay their period but not to delay fertile window. I can't get out of visiting family and DH can't join me and DC so this month will be 'wasted' otherwise. Really desperate to get pregnant again asap. Thanks so much for any advice x
