How are IVF stuns if you already have painful ovulation?

I'm not quite looking at IVF yet but due to some recent issues it may be that we end up needing it.

I have quite painful ovulation - like paracetamol is enough to make it almost go away, I can function with it but I wouldn't say go for a run.

Just wondering if IVF makes you create more eggs does that make it more painful?

You actually don't ovulate during ivf. That's the whole point: they need to collect your eggs before you ovulate.

What hurts is when the follicles grow, your ovaries feel tender and sometimes it's hard to walk. But that's only the last two days or so before collection.

I was in pain after the collection also due to very sensitive ovaries and the procedure itself. But medication helped.
