Has anyone used Fertilysis?

Just wondered if anyone has used fertilysis and their experience using it?
We have had a few implantation failures so we are wanting to do further tests. We were debating an EMMA and ALICE tests however I came across fertilysis which seems less invasive and seem to test for more things? TIA x

Hi @naevo, also curious about this and considering Fertilysis. I’ve done their online form to see what tests they’d recommend. Have you decided to try it?

Hi, yes I've used them a lot, I've done the full female microbiome, the semen microbiome, the DNA fragmentation and the immune blood tests with them. You have to pay for a courier fee when you order, the kit comes out quickly, you need to arrange when the sample will be taken and arrange the box pick up for that day, DHL then collect from your home and get it back to the lab in Greece in a couple of days. The results should be back within 2 weeks but they tend to take longer.

Interesting to hear @Gardenlady543 thank you! Do you mind if I ask if the test results were useful/if you did follow up treatment for anything they brought up?

We’re about to have our second FET after the first failed and DH is raring to go but I’m wondering if testing might be useful. I have an autoimmune condition that the clinic doesn’t seem at all bothered by but I wonder if it could be a contributing factor.

@Labradoodlepup so I have a very long and complicated fertility journey, I've been having IVF since 2020 and had implantation failure for four years, I did a lot of tests during this time. This included imaging such as a HSG or saline scan (essential pre Ivf but often not done), the microbiome tests- I had EMMA ALICE twice with terrible results and then moved to fertilysis after with a normal result, the menstrual fluid test takes less time and it's less invasive. We found out with the dna fragmentation test that DH had a normal fragmentation percentage but the sperm that were abnormal were very abnormal, so this meant we moved to the sperm chip sorting method. The immune tests told us we had a complete HLA DQA1 match and I had had high NK cells in my blood, and then to complicate matters the one fibroid I had the whole time which I was told was not submucosal, was joined my a definite submucosal fibroid. So I ended up having open fibroid surgery last year to remove them both and was told they were both submucosal. Because of the immune stuff I saw Dr Gorgy in London, if you have a known autoimmune condition you may want to see him, he put me on a immune protocol and gave me a treatment called LIT. Through the fibroid surgery, the immune protocol and a modified natural FET, I had implantation for the first time (5th transfer- 2 untested and 3 euploids) which was a chemical and then the next transfer was successful and I'm currently 20 weeks.

@Gardenlady543 thank you that’s really helpful. Congratulations on your BFP!
