Optimal DHEA/testosterone levels for fertility

Hi all,

I have read It Starts with the Egg and notice that the optimal scores given are in the below measurement.

The optimal total testosterone level for female fertility is around 25 to 45 ng/dL

My clinic measures in nmol/L, so I am not able to use this measurement to find out how I am scoring.

Does anyone have statistics in nmol/L for the optimal testosterone score and for DHEA S, the score in umol/L?

I have been on DHEA 75mg per day for 2 months ish now and I have tested and got my results, I cannot tell if my scores are too high or not. I am worried as I know that a too high score can damage eggs.

Thankful for any help in advance

If you do a search for nmol/L to ng/dL you can convert it easily. Then you know what you have. My results are high and my clinic says they are fine and I’m unsure if to reduce my DHEA or trust them. They don’t ask you to test levels so I tested myself.

Thanks for responding! Yes I just had this convo w my clinic! They said there is no established level of what is too high, and they go off syptoms and don't test. So I have shelled out to test, but so annoying it's in different measurements. I have googled to translate and honestly the results make no sense...i am not convinced of the conversions. I guess if our clinics are not concerned we shouldn't be?

Did you figure out how to convert? I have also Googled but struggling to make sense of it!

Nope, I don't trust the conversions so just went off what my clinic said which is to go by symptoms and if no bad symptoms then to carry on taking...
