Symptoms after embryo transfer

just curious what symptoms (if any) did anyone have after embryo transfer in the 2 week wait?

@beehappy19 - I am due to have FET in a couple of weeks if all goes well. I've been pregnant once (ended in mc). Looking to see if anyone has to share any experiences. I think symptoms wouldn't differ from a normal pregnancy regardless ivf or not. Unless ivf medication affects how you feel

@CoCoaButter85 good luck for for FET. I thought that too although I’ve been pregnant before and didn’t have a single symptom until around 2 weeks after my missed period. This time we’ve done IVF and I’ve not felt great pretty much from day 1 after the transfer which is probably side effects from the medication.

I read somewhere on mumsnet that medication can make you feel sick. Fingers crossed you will end up with positive outcome. I'll keep fingers crossed for you! Xxx

Honestly none until a bit of brown discharge the day before OTD. That round was positive. Recent fresh cycle with a negative outcome I started having some on/off bleeding from 6dp5dt. Good luck!

Just looking for some post transfer advice. I had a cavitating embryo transferred on day 5 - has anyone had any success with this?

Also experiencing light spotting the day after transfer and need to use the toilet a lot, feels like a UTI, is this normal?

I had three transfers. No symptoms on any and on the last one I had a positive result x

I'm currently 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant, all I had in 2ww and after were little cramping every now and again with 2 occasions on brown/caramel discharge. During 2ww I couldn't decide if it was just to side effects of progesterone though. Its really difficult to pin point symptoms I think. Wish you all so much luck

No symptoms for me... Maybe some gas/bloating, but nothing I dont usually have on my own, so its difficult to say whether it is a symptom or just me!

Do you remember if the discharge was soon after the transfer? It’s such an anxious wait! 🙈

@Cassiesim mine was the day before test day (8dp5dt) and it happened last week too.

The discharge/spotting after transfer could just be off the transfer itself? I know they sometimes say that

I had no symptoms, but I did have brown spotting/discharge the night before I needed to test and assumed it was all over until a very strong positive at 4am. She is now 6 months old xx

Thanks for your help everyone that’s reassuring! If anyone also has any experience having a cavitating embryo transferred (think it’s one stage before blastocyst) on day 5 it would be great to hear from you too.

sorry as I know this thread isn’t that recent. Just after a bit of help/ reassurance and advice!
I am currently in the TWW. Will be one week down tomorrow so 6 days past 5 day transfer. I am trying super hard not to test early but today feeling down as I feel like I am drying up and haven’t had much cervical mucus in my underwear for a few days now. I have some but it’s not much at all. I’m wondering if anyone else was the same but still got a BFP?

First symptom i had was really bad lower back pain at 4dp5dt for 3 days
then i started cramping alot and felt exhausted.

@Laurenm1990 not sure cm is a reliable indicator to be honest. I had none then all of a sudden had loads after my bfp. Dried up again for about 2 weeks now back to having loads again. I'm not really sure it means anything either way. Had a scan at 7 weeks and all was well
