IVF Panic! Clinic and medication instructions contradict eachother

I’m currently on day 4 of stims - due to introduce the second injection tomorrow.

my clinic advised to take the second injection in the morning and the stims in the evening (as normal).

however, the second injection (Ganirelix) instructions say that ‘Ganirelix and FSH should be administered approximately at the same time’. This obviously isn’t what my clinic has said.

just looking to hear from others who have been through this - what did you do during your IVF cycle?

Please check with your clinic. I've always done them at the same time, but in opposite areas of the abdomen.

I think in this case it's best to just call your clinic/ask to speak with your doctor and ask. You will drive yourself mad googling things or looking for answers on here! Call and ask for their reasoning. Generally, official instructions are average recommendations (for any meds in the world), the treating medical professional usually alters the dosages, timing, etc, based on many various factors within your protocol.

I took mine as your clinic has advised ganirelix in the morning, stims in the evening. I would trust the clinic but call them to check if you want reassurance. Good luck with it!
