IVF Early Pregnancy Symptoms - or lack of!!!

Hi everyone,

Hope you’re all well

I am so confused and worried, after having 3 previous losses (an ectopic resulting in the removal of my right tube, a Chemical and a missed miscarriage) I am not pregnant again through IVF, fresh transfer.

I am 5 weeks today, since 7dp5dt I have been spotting for a week and now it’s stopped. Anyway I have no symptoms, no increase in CM, no sore boobs, nothing! I’m so confused.

if anyone had anything similar with an IVF pregnancy I’d be really grateful in hearing it

terrified that it’s another loss and my clinic won’t do me a HCG or progesterone test which is annoying, I am paying so I don’t see why it’s an issue (anyway that’s a story for another day)

Thanks so much! It went well. I was shocked when they said congratulations!! We saw a heartbeat… measuring 3 days behind but alls well 🥰

@DanielleLouise1996 oh that’s fantastic news, are you exactly 7 weeks.

I bet it was amazing to see a little heartbeat 🥰. . Are you still symptomless?

I'm glad your scan went well!
I have mine next week, at 6+6 so hopefully will have the same results!!

@DanielleLouise1996 how bad?

I am unsure of if Im having nausea or not. Whatever it is, it is only a HINT of it. But it might be me thinking about it too much!

I remember years ago, I was working on a show and we had norovirus strike the company, and we ended up with a skeleton cast and crew for 3 shows (bastard producers wouldnt cancel, even though people were throwing up in the wings!), and then the next day, which was the day off, I kept thinking maybe I felt a bit nauseous and that Id caught norovirus as well!
I hadnt and I didnt feel nauseous... I was basically creating it in my mind!
So Im hoping this is what this is as well.

@DanielleLouise1996 hi op, I was symptomless with my ivf pregnancy though noticed my resting heart rate increase on the Fitbit. Didn't get symptoms early on - nausea and heartburn later on! He's now 16 months :)

On my first l transfer I had zero symptoms throughout tww and all through first trimester and today I have a beautiful happy healthy toddler to show for it so as frustrating as it is, no symptoms can be a good sign!

@DauntedAF Id rather not have any symptoms, if Im honest. I just wish there was a way to know everything is going well. But symptoms are also not that reassuring! So Im good with having none.
Someone in another thread mentioned how great it would be to have an LED light on your belly, to indicate things were ok. Id pay good money for that! LOL

@DanielleLouise1996 scan went well, baby’s growth is exactly where it should be and has a strong heartbeat. Such an amazing experience and yes I did cry lol 🥰

Tested this morning and got a bfp... Well maybe not fat...there's a line there defo but thought it'd be stronger. Hopefully tomorrow it'll be darker 🤓

Tested again this morning. Digital is still saying pregnant and then the clear blue has a line also. But it's still faint, similar to yesterday. So no progression. I was also head in the toilet last night sick from I suspect either a bug My kid had during the week or a dodgy lunch . This can't be good for baby either. My gut tells me tomorrow's news isnt going to be great but out of my control I guess

@DauntedAF they say HCG levels rise every 48 hours so see if you get a better progression line tomorrow. I said I’d only test every 48 hours but I never ever stood by that.

Could be early signs of morning/all day sickness? I can’t comment on how that is as Ive never experienced it.
