To those if you had an unsuccessful round , did you Incoperate anything that you believe helped the outcome with regards to improving egg quality?
I've seen women saying they took supplements and followed a diet and they had better quality embryos next collection. Turning 40 end of year which is making me very nervous

Thanks @Summerishere83 ! Good luck with your treatment, hope the supplements give you a good boost! Personally, if one can afford it and no harm can be done, it is worth exploring options re supplements.

@NatW2021 thanks! Really interesting re vitamin D, I had been told it was good but had no idea it could have such a positive impact on AMH. Was this change reflected in terms of egg retrieval numbers in your case?

@Loulaki i am just starting out, I started my first cycle this month but on my guest scan on day 8 of Stims my cycle was cancelled this Wednesday as only had 2 good sized follicles, the rest were too small and didn't respond well. im so gutted but I would rather start again with a higher dose and get a better outcome.

I'll never know if Vit D was the reason it doubled but I think its definitely helped as research suggests low vit D can suppress AMH. X

@NatW2021 that is disappointing but I have heard so many times that the first cycle can be a bit of a trial and error! Seems like the right call - you would rather get the best outcome and if starting over is what is needed, then that makes sense. Good luck for your next cycle!

Thank you - you are totally right, there is a lot of science behind it. I was never tested for vitamin d but I live in Scotland so very little sun to get my levels up. Probably why drs suggest you take supplements almost as standard. If this cycle does not work out I will def get my levels checked etc to make sure I don't have a more severe deficiency.
