Beginning on Bemfola tonight and then Granirelix at the end of the week.

Thinking of daily timings, what time in the evening / morning did you inject?

Did you inject on both sides and alternate?

Any other words of advice regarding IVF is welcome!

I also had Bemfola and took that each night at 9:00pm. It's a really easy injection - nice thin needle. My advice is not to use the alcohol wipes they give you in the pack! As long as you're clean (which I'm sure you are), you don't need to use them. That was the advice from my clinic which I ignored the first time and the wipe made the injection sting.

I'm guessing your other injection is the ovulation stopper? I had a different one, Fyremadel. I was told to take that in the morning so I had that between 7 and 7:30am.

With the Bemfola I injected different sides each night. But when I added the morning injection I just tried to do where I had space.

Good luck - they're a lot easier than you think they'll be, you'll be just fine x

Evening is recommended I think. I did both one side then swapped to the other side the next night but don't think it really matters. You end up like a pincushion either way! Just go for it with conviction, no dithering. Slower = more uncomfortable. I found them okay, you just have to get in the mindset of it needs to be done. Good luck,

Also…if you want to reduce the discomfort,hold an ice cube on the area for a few seconds before administering- numbs the area completely xx

good luck :)

I was told to inject in my thigh, alternate legs. Depends on med I think

I did my bemfola in the evening about 8pm and rotated the location around my stomach! Main tips would be;

Don’t let your partner do the injection! Seriously made it a million times more painful not controlling it.

leave the needle in for 10 seconds after injecting to make sure you get everything in.

the injection says to click on the needle - I clicked and then screwed and it worked well.

good luck!
