I have been struggling with fertility issues and after having a bad experience with private in Leeds I have been referred to NHS at centre for life. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with the centre for life and how long did it take from referral to first appointment?

@mimef I know they did have a massive backlog due to covid. My referral was done September 2022, my initial appointment was in October, signed consents in December, picked up meds in May and didn't start treatment until June this year! and that's private treatment.

I have a friend currently going through NHS treatment there too and she had her first appointment pretty quickly from referral in January and is starting treatment in August.

I think because they have so many NHS patients it's really busy!

I’m with centre for life! Referral was in end of March, first appt end of June. First appointment I had a scan and bloods, went back 2 weeks later to be scanned again as I have a cyst on one ovary. My partner had a SA done last week too. Today we had our second appointment and been referred for IVF, there’s a bit of a backlog since covid but they’re expecting me to start treatment around Jan next year. I’ve found the staff all lovely and welcoming and so far my experience has been fab!
