letrozol

Hello,
I'm trying letrozol 5mg for iui but am unsure what to expect and google doesn't seem to have much info. Can anyone tell me how many follicles they produced on letrozol? I'm hoping for more than one but wonder if this is likely? I'm 37 and ovulate normally so this is just to boost chances. We are a same sex couple using frozen sperm

I was on the same dose and I produced 2 follicles but conceived a single baby. I got the sense that was just the right response, any more than that and I think they would have advised against trying that month. More than one baby sounds like fun but has risk attached!!

@whatahun thanks! Yes we already have a toddler from an unmedicated IUI a few years ago but I am older and had a chemical last time so we thought we’d try a medicated cycle. A singleton is what we’re hoping for but also aware that more follicles mean better chances and inevitably higher chance of multiples. Fingers crossed for 2 follicles. Thanks!
