Can someone analyse my BBT chart

I have been trying to conceive for 13 months. I have just started using the Natural Cycles app and tracking BBT. As you can see, my temperature does not drop during period. It’s predicting I ovulated on day 31. And my temp is now higher than last month when I ovulated so why isn’t it suggested I’ve ovulated now? I’m waiting for when it tells me to do LH tests which isn’t for another 2 weeks (day 23-30 of cycle). Anyone got any ideas because google does not answer these questions.

Thank you in advance.

Can someone analyse my BBT chart

The issue with BBT charts is that they're very inaccurate. I used to find they were artificially higher the day after any alcohol or any fast food/takeaway for example and if I slept with my mouth open it was pointless taking it.

My guess would be that tomorrow if your temp stays where it is or goes high it will say ovulation happened on day 15 but I'd only trust it if your temperature remains mostly consistently high for the next six days.

You need three temps higher than the previous six temps to suggest ovulation has happened but sometimes if you have long cycles or PCOS bodies can "try" to ovulate and make your BBT all screwy.

You can't compare this cycle to last cycle, it only matters about the "shift" in temperature. It's neither here nor there what your temperature was last time. I don't think this app is accurate about the last ovulation day. Most of them work on averages so take any predictions with a pinch of salt until you have 3+ months worth of data on it as it has to "learn" your normal.

Do you usually have 35/36 day cycles? If so it makes sense not to use LH strips until maybe day 18. If your cycles are inconsistent I'd always do them from day 10, skipping days in between if there isn't even a suggestion of the line progressing.

@WeightlossKin Thank you so much for the detailed response. I really appreciate you taking time out of your day to answer.

I hope it helps! I used to enjoy taking my BBT and working out what could impact it etc. 😊
I used to use fertility friend to track mine - might be worth trying a couple of different apps to see which ones works best for you?
