Hi , long story short Im 36 MC January 2022. All my tests look normal . My partner had less than 1% sperm morphology but with changes the last test was normal. Now waiting to start IVF in November (waitlist is very long) . One thing I have noticed and worried about is my very changed cycle, IVF clinic doesn't seem worried or bother about . Ive gone from having a normal cycle . every 28 days ovulated around day 14 like clock work. to now barley having a bleed maybe one day if i'm lucky if not barley even spotting to either not catching ovulation or ovulating on day 21 |(i always caught ovulation and always always ovulated like clock work on day 14). Im over weight but not hugely I'm a Uk size 12 - 14. Im still hoping for it to happen naturally before IVF. Any tips on how to get my period back supplements, herbs anything. As i said all my tests hormone levels look ok to the IVF clinic so Im at a loss.

Hi, I wouldn’t say I’m an expert but have been told by others to try some really good quality supplements to regulate my cycles - I’m on Zita West and they’ve been working well for me so far (2 months) with no side effects. As I’m a bit older and also trying to get in for IVF through NHS which is taking some time, I thought I might as well try everything naturally. I’m also thinking about trying TwoPlus applicator which was recommended. For context, I’m 35 and TTC #1 and all my tests and DP came back ok too. Good luck

Try soy isoflavones. Take no more than 100mg dose (40 is preferred) days 3-6/7 and your ovulation will be stronger and earlier. Do it for at least 3 months. I had similar at 33 where the stress of shift work and ivf through my cycles off and went from being 28-31 days to 35-42 days. It was horrible. My periods never changed but the soys are the only thing that ever helped me with cycles. I changed diet and EVERYTHING and nothing has benefited me that I know of other than regular health benefits but the soy I still take between ivf. Look into dhea too for before ivf. I have no success stories other than a mc from first ivf and then 2nd transfer failed and that is unexplained and size 10 (now as ivf weight 😔). Unexplained is the worst in my opinion as constantly told I can get pregnant but here we are 3/4 yrs later... Best of luck but seriously soy isoflavones. Search on mumsnet for more info

I went for the Zita West Ultimate Egg Health pack. It’s expensive but I found a discount code and it looks like there’s an offer on now. They’re recommended by a lot of clinics
