Has anyone kept testing after the trigger shot? I'm 3dpo, took the trigger shot last Thursday morning.

I'm guessing it takes about ten days?!

Pic is the day after the trigger shot.

Hahaha I did think about it, but didnt have any tests and decided I didnt want to spend money on that!

but curious to find out how long it will stay in my system. I took mine at midnight last wednesday/thursday

@ASGIRC I know right the temptation is too much! I've got about 50 cheapies so thought why not. At least I can see a second line 🤣.

This is my last round of monitored letrozole so let's hope it worked. What's your journey so far?

@FETmum first time trier, single mom by choice, and not using my own eggs, so I feel like the whole thing is just easier for me, since I dont have the stress of stims, and egg collection, etc. Im using a donor embryo.

However, I am doing it on a natural cycle, hence the trigger shot. Have my FET on Wednesday!

@ASGIRC I don't blame you! Why the hell not, wishing you ever success with your transfer next week. Very exciting.

Update: 4dpo & the trigger is still in the system.

I am really immature and do this every time (which I think has been 12x in total now - I’m losing count) with FRER. I’d say 10 days is about right for both Gonasi and Ovitrelle.

FETmum · 25/07/2023 20:52

@ListerMummy I don't thinks it's immature to be testing out a trigger shot 🤣 each to their own I say!

Will test again in the morning, here we go again! Another month of disappointment, hurray.

@FETmum I’ve always found there to be something quite thrilling about a pee stick saying you’re pregnant, even if you’re actually not. Gone Girl really should have got hold of a trigger shot, shouldn’t she? I reckon I’m weird though.

FETmum · 26/07/2023 07:58

Officially 13 days since the trigger shot! There's a faint line but it's not progressing! AF due Friday.

Hope you're having better luck than me Grin

I did end up testing out the trigger shot on day 9/10 and it was clear! So the 10ish days worked out for me.
My lines are now positive and getting stronger!

Hi everyone ! I’m new here. I’m 6 days after my trigger shot. I’m tempted to test in a couple of days but don’t know if I should. Since the trigger my boobs has been very sore so I’m just basing off my progesterone based on that. As it leaves my system i would assume it will hurt less…?

Cant help you with that. I have had exactly zero symptoms during this whole process. Zero after the trigger, zero from the progesterone, and zero implantation symptoms.

Id suggest getting those really cheap internet tests. You can usually get like 30 for a tenner, and then you can test to your hearts content!

Are you doing a transfer or just a medicated cycle?

FETmum · 27/07/2023 10:26

I'm officially out the game, good luck everyone! Here's to next month.
