Yesterday I had a lap and dye. After I woke he said it went fine and will discuss at follow up, I took this as everything was healthy….. but then my discharge notes said I have a fibroid and that the die failed to instill (makes sense as there was loads of dye all over my bed) and wants to do a HyCoSy.
Does anyone know what failing to instil actually means? Does it mean they tried to push dye through the tubes but it wouldn’t go? He said the tubes looked healthy from the outside (through lap). But I don’t understand why he now would do a HyCoSy after saying to go straight to lap and dye as will give us a better diagnostics opportunity.
Felt so incredibly happy when I woke and he said it went fine, just to feel like it was taken away when the nurse went through discharge notes. So sick and tired of how many mistakes they keep making that probably seem irrelevant to them but all add up and give 0 confidence in their ability to actually help me get pregnant. I’d already called my partner crying saying we can have a baby without IVF just for that to be put into complete confusion…
