Low progesterone on transfer day

I had a FET this afternoon and had a blood test immediately before it. On the way home from the transfer, I had a call saying I have low progesterone (19 and they want 50) and need to start Lubion tonight. I'm on 400mg Cyclogest twice a day already.

Feeling really upset and deflated. This cost us £2400 and I can't afford another FET for a while.

Any success stories following a similar low progesterone level?

Mine was almost identical. Level of 20 on transfer day. Prescription for lubion. I'm currently 14 weeks pregnant. My fourth round of ivf and the first time I have got a positive and the first time they did a progesterone blood test on transfer day xx

Don't be disheartened. Without them finding this out the embryo had a much less chance of making it xx

I had a level thereabouts on day of transfer, I can't remember exactly, but low enough that they prescribed Lubion and upped cyclogest dose. I remember feeling reassured that they did the FET anyways even though they'd seen my level. Went on to live birth of my DC.

I was on two cyclogest also. They said no point in upping to three if I wasn't absorbing it. If you need any help with the lubion let us know as they aren't the easiest and they are a stinger x
